Since the age of 14, SKE has been producing music and making beats. He was influenced by Hip Hop artists and groups from the 1990s such as Kool G. Rap, Nas, Blackmoon, Beatnuts, and others. The hip hop music industry was changing during his introduction to all genres and has used those influences to hone his craft. He knew he would be the greatest lyrical genius growing up in Jamaica Square, New York. Also being influenced early on by his older brother, Grif Manolo, who also rapped, and his peers. From this moment on, this was the beginning of a new found era! SKE brings the modern day hip-hop vibes we all know and love. Making his music relatable and nostalgic to the masses. This indie artist comes of Colombian and Ecuadorian descent who was born in the heart of South Jamaica, Queens, New York. At the age of 12, his family relocated to Elmont, New York, Long Island, where his love of music blossomed.
