Neill Von Tally told Pigeons and Planes, “Bone Music is the story of a blue collar worker struggling through both work and a traditional relationship. “Oofda” in particular is about the relationship our main character is in and the struggles that plague traditional long term relationships especially those strained by stressful work environments and a lack of monetary stability.” The laid-back single comes directly after The Last Artful, Dodgr’s November 15 performance on Jimmy Fallon where she stood in as background vocalist for fellow Portland artist, Aminé. She also made a promo appearance on popular syndicated radio show “Sway in the Morning” day of the “Oofda” release.
