Getting to know music artist Tay V

Tell us about you:

I go by Tay V and I was born and raised in the inland empire. I was born at Moreno Valley hospital and spent the most of my life out there. I moved around a couple times growing up due to sports, and my freshmen year of high school I moved to Rancho Cucamonga. I graduated from Rancho Cucamonga high school in 2017 but Moreno Valley is home. I’ve always been a fan of music ever since I was little. In middle school I would come home put on YouTube videos and sit at the computer all day rapping lyrics. It’s something I have always had a deep passion for. I remember having a book of rhymes writing down lyrics at a young age thinking I would grow up to be a rapper.. Music has always been something I had a passion for but never really wanted to show it and try it out. I played sports my whole life and once I got older I kind of left the music dreams in the past and decided to to focus on football. Last year in the summer I went to a friends house just messing around and we recorded a song and it sounded pretty good. So ever since then I was itching to get back in the studio and record again. It took a lot to put football in my past and focus on music, but I came back from school in may and  hopped in a real studio for the first time wit YikeMike and just instantly felt like it was something I was supposed to be doing I just needed to get out my comfort zone and I made it happen. I love music because it gives me confidence when I put the headphones and start flowing I feel like nobody can touch me, and I know I have the voice to do some big things. Im different as an artist because I’m me. I feel like growing up I have always been my own person. I’ve never been the one to follow somebody or a trend.  Im not trying to emulate a sound I’m  here to create my own wave and be the best version of me. In 5 years I see myself living the life God blessed me with providing for my family. Signing a crazy deal waking the world up letting them know  I gotta sound that’s dope and ready to be heard. Doing shows with sold out crowds, on the tour bus with my team making memories that will last for a life time. Putting my people in position to win and succeed in life. I want to accomplish a lot of things in life buying my mom a house getting my grandma whatever she wants putting people in better situations.  I have a a lot of big goals for myself and slowly but surely I’m starting to knock them down one by one. One accomplishment I want to achieve is being able to be financially free and easing my families wants and needs. I want to be able to provide for them and give them the life they deserve to me that’s the best feeling in the word knowing your making peoples lives less stressful. I think I bring versatility to the music world and my raspy rapping voice is something I think people will like. I want to be remembered by character and the way I help and impact people and the way I work on my craft to be the best.  Im dedicated to the music and ready to give it my all and hope the people ready something big.
