Yung Eli Delivers “Qualified Immunity”

Brooklyn’s latest booming talent is none other than rising rhymer, Yung Eli. Emerging out of Southside Jamaica Queens by way of Brooklyn, Eli has been on the scene since 2009. In fact, you may know him as YunGKinG until 2010. 

The Evolution Of Yung Eli

Shortly after, he went under new management and had to change his stage name to be what we know him as to date. Following the name change, Eli went on to release his debut project titled, Standing Of The Unknown. Unfortunately, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) took down his debut along with two other mixtapes that he produced. The content was stripped from prominent sites like DatPiff. 

Yung Eli didn’t let that discourage him though. Instead, he kept producing and cooking up music. As a result, he knew it would eventually hit — & he was right! 

Since 2013, Yung Eli has performed all through New York City, Baltimore, Washington, Atlanta, and other cities. In doing so, he made a name for himself in the streets. 

The Hitmaking Machine 

Keeping the momentum, Eli has a stacked musical catalog. With the inclusion of his three pulled tapes, he has a solid 11 projects to date. Back in 2015, he released his trendy track titled, “Worried”. The record garnered such great feedback that it was praised by trailblazing publications such as, Hot New Hip Hop for their HeatSeekers column. 

His previously released projects Flash Back Friday and The FreeMix Tape 2 feature the legendary hip hop pioneer Buck Shot from Black Moon, BCC, Duck Down Records. Outside of music, Yung Eli is an entrepreneur after launching his movement brand, Gifted Mind State which like his music, he utilizes to bring awareness about self love, self control and self efficacy.
