Tylo TinyAmp’s latest release, “Crenshaw Madness” is a powerful tribute to Los Angeles and the legacy of Nipsey Hussle.

Collaborating with legendary producer DJ Battlecat and the late Uncle Chucc, TinyAmp brings an authentic West Coast sound to life. The beat, originally meant for Nipsey, adds a deeper connection to the Crenshaw District and the city of LA.

Reflecting on the project, Tylo highlights his favorite lyric, “Crenshaw stretched from Wilshire to Torrance,” emphasizing Crenshaw as the heart of Los Angeles beyond just the district itself. For him, the most meaningful scene in the accompanying visuals is the park scene, representing a genuine family atmosphere, something that embodies LA’s community spirit.

This collaboration holds extra weight for TinyAmp. “It was produced by a legend for a legend, with another long-lost legend on the hook,” he says, referring to DJ Battlecat and Uncle Chucc. While the project feels like home, the absence of Uncle Chucc to witness the track’s success adds a bittersweet note.

The inspiration behind the song stems from the essence of Crenshaw itself. TinyAmp says it was an opportunity to capture the soul of LA through music. Working with DJ Battlecat, whom he regards as a “big brother” and a West Coast icon, was a surreal experience. The production was so well-tailored to the sound of LA that Tylo didn’t need to change a thing.

For the future, TinyAmp is focused on expanding his Crenshaw by Nature brand, known for its quality merch, alongside dropping more music. He has new visuals and music lined up, including a highly anticipated collaboration with Dom Kennedy, produced by Grammy-winner Don Cannon. Tylo’s vision is to keep pushing forward with the support of those who’ve stood by him since the beginning, honoring both his roots and his community.

“Shout out to Crenshaw by Nature, what we offer you is quality fits, merch, music, always got gear on deck and always the quality experience dealing with us,” Tylo said. “Been in the district since before Nip passed, as far as whose involved. . . Any body and everybody who has ever supported bought a shirt or sweatsuit, help me sell a shirt in the alley that’s who I started with, I didn’t start on my own and humble enough to know i need the support to continue on!! shout out to anybody that help Crenshaw by Nature grow.”
