The Golden Child Is Going To Be A Big Sister
Just 18 months after the Golden Child, Reminisce’s introduction to the world, Love & Hip Hop: New York stars, Remy Ma and Papoose are expecting again! The 40-year-old rapper and television personality, Remy Ma, is going to be a mom of three. This will be the second child with her husband and LHHNY co-star, Papoose.
The exciting news was announced by rapper and songwriter, Papoose during an appearance on Monday, July 6th of Fox Soul’s Out Loud with Claudia Jordan. When Jordan asked how he and his family were adjusting to the new normal and using social distancing to their benefit, the Brooklyn native rhymer shared the happy news about the new expansion to his family while discussing his life amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Papoose goes on to say:
“I love being with my family,I get to spend so much time with my amazing wife and my amazing daughter. I’m just making the best out of it, and we’re moving forward… Some good things are actually coming out of this,” he added.
“We’re going to have a new child real soon.“
Back in February of 2016, Ma and Papoose married and since have had a daughter together by the name of, Reminisce, who is now 18 months. From a previous relationship, Ma also has a son, Jason, 19, while Papoose is father to Shamele, 21, Destiny, 19, and Dejanae, 16.
Fans couldn’t be more happy for the two… especially after Remy shared family photos with Papoose and Reminisce while celebrating Father’s Day in June. In the caption, she praises Papoose about fatherhood.
“I’ve never in my life saw a man so happy to be a father. The entire pregnancy you were smiling from ear to ear and documenting EVERYTHING! BOTH, I and @ReminisceMacKenzie are in love with you LOL, Thank you for being a great father to our baby and all our grown kids as well. We love you Daddy.” Ma wrote.
Although times right now are anything but normal, NY emcees Remy Ma and Papoose have something very special to celebrate — a new bundle of joy! After welcoming their daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie, on December 14, 2018, during the filming of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Remy opened up about her struggles to conceive after suffering an ectopic pregnancy. The couple eventually sought IVF ( in vitro fertilization) to assist in conceiving their daughter. Being a miracle through a rough time, Baby Reminisce was affectionately nicknamed “The Golden Child” by her parents.
In celebration of the exciting news, we pray for a safer, easier, and healthier pregnancy for the Mackies and can’t wait to meet the newest addition to the family!
