Rueben Wood releases his latest single titled “City Gear,” that also serves as a theme song for nationwide fashion brand City Gear/Hibbet Sports. The verses are added by Baton Rouge rapper DB Kash and supported with bridges from Sy and Wood himself. With a catchy hook and witty lyrics the song is definitely one to listen and catch a vibe too.
Merging the fashion and music industry is very common, so it’s no surprise that Wood will usher in 2021 with an up-tempo anthem to compliment style. ‘City Gear’ is an American company that operates over 130 stores in the central region of the US since founded in 1978. Under the name Shelmar Retail Partners LLC, the company is now owned by ‘Hibbett Sports’ since a merger last year (2020).
The Wood produced record creates a vibe for shoppers and onlookers. The collaboration between Rueben, DB Kash and Sy creates a melodic ensemble that is filled with punch lines, and vocal ranges.
