In an exciting collaboration, Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and ARE WE DREAMING have released the official music video for their powerful anthem, “If I Fall,” which is part of the soundtrack for Paramount Animation and Hasbro Entertainment’s forthcoming film, TRANSFORMERS ONE. You can catch the visuals here.

Directed by Brian Tyler (of ARE WE DREAMING) and DJ Furth, the music video showcases a striking visual aesthetic that features vibrant red and blue laser themes, symbolizing the intense rivalry between iconic characters Optimus Prime and Megatron. As Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and ARE WE DREAMING deliver their passionate verses, the backdrop includes captivating clips from TRANSFORMERS ONE, effectively enhancing the video’s narrative of impending conflict. The dynamic drum solos by ARE WE DREAMING further amplify the emotional intensity of the track, making the visuals a perfect accompaniment to the song’s themes.

Commenting on the video, Tyler expressed his excitement about collaborating with such talented artists. “It was incredible to work with legends Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign, who both brought their A-game to the video for ‘If I Fall,’” he said. “The sci-fi elements really pull you into the world of Transformers. The sets were epic—it felt like we were on Cybertron!”

Tyler, who also edited the video alongside Elizabeth Saltzman, shared insights into the multifaceted process of directing while performing. “It’s quite unique to direct your own music video while also singing, playing the drums, editing, and creating visual effects,” he remarked. “Being so involved in every aspect has been both challenging and rewarding. This video is the first of many for my upcoming audio-visual project, Are We Dreaming, where I handle everything from visuals to music production, spanning various genres with a focus on bass and hip hop. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created!”

Released earlier this month to critical acclaim from outlets such as Rolling Stone, UPROXX, XXL Magazine, and VIBE, “If I Fall” will serve as the End Title track for TRANSFORMERS ONE. Tyler is also the composer for the film’s original score, which is available for pre-order here.

TRANSFORMERS ONE, featuring an impressive voice cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm, is set to debut exclusively in theaters on September 20.
