Pure VNM Tour takes over Substation in Seattle Washington, with Los Angeles next! -

It’s tour season which means one thing, new raw talent up close in the most authentic way. The Pure VNM Tour is a 10 city show featuring a collection of sounds, creativity and a sense of community for the music world. Pure VNM is a rap duo consisting of hip-hop artist Mic Fort and Dee-Jay. Together they organized a platform aimed at highlighting talent while giving exposure to performers in a major cross-country way. The tour’s first stop was in Seattle, Washington rocking the stage at the super lit Substation Live Music Venue.

Pure VNM gives indie artist a moment to shine

Setting the tone for the rest of the tour, Pure VNM stepped foot in Seattle and brought a variety pack of genres with them. A line up featuring hip-hop, rap, rnb, alternative, rock and island flava, filled the venue with mesmerizing sounds. Indie artist from Houston, Kankakee, Chicago and also Phoenix brought originality and a unique presence. Aside from headlining the tour, the duo used this as an opportunity to promote support and a sense of community for independent artist. With the first show setting a high bar, artist took over the Substation stage showing off undeniable talent. Hosted by Seattle’s #1 hype man Scott Elkins, the setting was perfect for an up-close experience.

Local Seattle artist Onasis opened the show giving a taste of the local Washington music scene. Of course, the featured acts on the tour did not disappoint, displaying a variety of indulgent and layered tracks. RnB artist Terrance & T-Smooth enchanted fans as their sensual and lush melodies filled the room. Lil Freedie B had the Chicago heat, lighting the stage up with his high-energy sounds. Rap artist Smitty took the crowd to a deeper meaning with his conscious yet bold lyricism, representing the Midwest in a powerful way. As the leading lady of the tour, Nayo Dez commands attention with her bigger than life voice and personality to match. Residing in Texas, the songstress has an impressive vocal range. Her sound is intoxicating capturing positivity while showing tribute to her culture. Another talented performance came from hip-hop rapper Propho Lotto, his relaxed yet confident demeanor makes for a polished yet raw sound.

Furthermore taking the show to new heights, co-headliner Yvng Fonti gave the black rock and alternative music a new feel. Using every inch of the stage he took fans on an out of this world experience. Although young, he’s already proven he has the makings of a black rock legend. Ending the phenomenal show was none other than Pure VNM, making sure to leave a lasting impression.
