OGPD Drops His Latest Album “1050” Featuring Tracks “Flooded” and “Dolce & Gabbana”

OGPD is an independent artist that comes from a Caribbean background and was raised in the Bronx, New York. His name standing for On God Purpose Driven, is inspired by his self-motivated and driven lifestyle. OGPD admits you must find your purpose and if you do not know what it is you have to chase it! From his early childhood, the independent artist was aware of the street violence in his neighborhood but knew he was destined to explore the world through music.

“I always had a musical background my dad was one of the biggest djs in uptown Bronx and mt Vernon he always had me in music since I was young.” He revealed, “I didn’t start creating hip hop music till 2010 but I started as an engineer learning from a couple Grammy engineers till around 2018.”

However, after a friend convinced OGPD to give rapping a shot, the independent artist never looked back. In 2014, OGPD relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where the music scene was blowing up and the independent artist was ready to go to work! Now the independent artist hopes to inspire and motivate people by showing them what its like to truly chase your dreams.

“I’m looking to impact the youth and people that get up and grind and sacrifice everyday.” He added, “I wanna impact the kids going to college to keep going even when I looks like the tunnel is closing. I wanna impact the kids in the hood going through BS to keep going nothing last forever and I wanna impact the people that’s bosses going through everyday life you ain’t by ya self.”
