OG DAYV has returned with a new album, The Most High, a project that not only cements his place in hip-hop but also highlights his evolving approach to music and brand-building. Featuring appearances from Benny The Butcher and E-40, the album is a bold step forward for the artist, who continues to experiment with sound, style, and presentation.
Produced primarily by Boom, OG DAYV’s trusted collaborator, the album serves as a showcase of both lyrical and sonic prowess. “Everything starts with production for me, so having Boom as the lead producer made too much sense,” says OG DAYV. “He understands my vision and the world I want to build through my music.” The chemistry between the two shines through each track, supported by standout contributions from Benny and E-40, adding layers of complexity to the project. OG DAYV is truly setting the tone with this project. With each release, he improves his craft and makes it known that he’s someone who plans on sticking around. He’s gotten praise and recognition for many of his past projects, including the popular “Limoncello” track which was featured on Black Panther.
However, he’s making it clear he has more goals to reach, and he’s not letting up on the music any time soon. Beyond the music, The Most High is a reflection of OG DAYV’s commitment to creating a cohesive artistic vision. His goal is clear: to merge his music, brand, and style into one unified expression. “I’ll be taking more control over videos and styling moving forward,” he shares, signaling a shift toward a more hands-on approach in all facets of his career. This includes exploring the impact of hip-hop culture on fashion, which he plans to integrate more deeply into his personal brand.
The album follows I’ll Explain In A Minute and The Sour Diesel Eagle, the latter released on April 20, 2024, in homage to cannabis culture. The Sour Diesel Eagle reflected OG DAYV’s personal relationship with the plant and his connection to the broader hip-hop community. Now, with The Most High, OG DAYV expands on these themes, pushing himself creatively while staying true to his artistic roots.
Fans can stream The Most High across all major platforms and follow OG DAYV’s journey as he continues to evolve both musically and visually.

Not really my sort of hip hop. Lot of the same tempo, same type of drum samples, and same monotonous delivery. Nothing particularly speaks to me.
I will, however, give anyone credit for writing an album and putting themselves out there, famous or otherwise, because it is an extremely difficult task. Just does not float my boat as I like a little more going on in terms of instrumentation and calibration of vocals.
