kalishapereraArtist Krishi just announced that he will be dropping an EP titled ‘Through The Fire and Flames’. This EP will be released this month and will build anticipation for his album that will be releasing in early 2022 consisting of 12 songs.
Krishi started out by making music for another artist. It did not take long for Krishi to decide to start focusing on his own music career due to the continuous support and encouragement from his family.
Earlier this year, the hard work and dedication started paying off when his single ‘Dark Love’ reached over 1 million streams across all platforms. This achievement gave Krishi the extra push and motivation to produce even better results with his next projects.
Moving forward Krishi is excited for any opportunity to collaborate with other artists. Krishi’s upcoming EP ‘Through The Fire and Flames’ will be his first time making songs with other producers such as Yung Pear, OuhBoy and Vitals. In addition, this EP also includes Krishi’s first time including features from 2 other artists.
Krishi mentioned that his top music inspirations are J Cole, Nav and JID. Krishi channels their story-telling and meaningful lyrics into his own music because he wants to show future and current generations the power in creatively expressing yourself.
Krishi is primarily focusing on his music career at the moment, but when he’s not in the studio you can find him working on his clothing brand ‘Lost Apparel.’ His clothing brand is currently highly promoted among well known artists all over the country.
