Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your latest music project? This single was inspired by the Latino music and love songs I grew up listening to.

How does your Latin heritage influence your music and songwriting process? My Latin heritage is a major part of my process. A lot of times I’ll bring THX beats Spanish songs and we will figure out how to make it ours.

What message or emotions do you hope to convey to your listeners through your music? I hope to convey that Latinos have a voice and we all are here to make and enjoy good vibrations and high frequencies. Ultimately I’d like to convey black and brown unity in my music.

Could you share a memorable moment or experience that has shaped your love for music? Growing up and watching my mom and dad dance salsa was a huge part of my life and the way they made me feel I hope to make people feel when I perform.

How do you feel your new music differs from your previous work, and what can fans expect? The new music is so much more routed in my Latin culture and I really am doing my best with partner THX beats to bring them what my hip hop and Latino influence become when merged together.

What role does music play in your life, and how has it helped you navigate challenges? Music is a huge part of my life. It helps me when I feel low or when I need that extra charge of energy. As far as navigating challenges, it really helps me vent when I got a lot of my mind I throw on a beat and just let my pen bleed.

Who are some of your musical influences, and how have they impacted your sound? My music influences vary from Julio Jaramillo, Hector Lavoe, Oscar De Leon and Tego Calderon to Eminem, Tupac, Nas, B real, Cypress Hill and Big Pun.

How do you balance staying true to your roots while also evolving as an artist? I feel like the roots will always stay grounded especially being a family man. So anything that grows from the roots is just fruits on the tree from the same roots.

Can you walk us through your creative process when writing and producing music? When it comes to this song and the ones that soon follow I come into the studio with old Spanish music that influenced me and I tell THX beats this is what I’m vibing with today and he begins making his magic and I start writing to the music.

What do you hope listeners take away from your music, especially in terms of the Latin culture you represent? I really hope they take away my story and good vibrations.
