Tyler Bach, better known by his stage name MAI TY, returns with more new music in 2022! As for the rising multifaceted musician with a few high-profile collaborations, including Kap G; TY has made a name for himself early in his musical career. His 2021 single, “Options,” features another special guest, BIGBABYGUCCI and is still raking in numbers!
MAI TY Taps BIGBABYGUCCI
Released July 2021, their collaborative track combines MAI TY’s signature style with rap influences from BIGBABYGUCCI, resulting in a high-energy track. In fact, the track’s intro is fitting and unique to his artistry. It doesn’t kick off like some of your favorite records. Instead, it gradually emerges from the background, as if the listener is walking towards it and can hear it being played in a club. Tones begin muffled and distant, then become clearer and more defined after a few seconds. As a result, it simulates the experience of entering a music venue. Then, MAI TY backs BIGBABYGUCCI with gentle piano and uplifting chord changes. Undoubtedly, “Options” is served up as a earworm for the masses.
MAI TY delivers notable wordplay whiel playing with some clever rhyming riffs and timing. Themes range from women to brotherhood, gangs, drugs and more. It is clear that these two wanted to communicate with an audience who shared their concerns. Their lyrics express the difficulties they’ve faced. While the lyrics are catchy, the music production itself makes you want to get up and dance. Making for an amazing experience for the listener while making timeless music.

Accompanying the audio, MAI TY unveils the visuals, really bringing the single to life! As for the James Tresco-directed visual representation, TY taps a strong team.
