M.G.E The Album Features New Cuts From Fat Trel, Z-Wayne, And More!

A album from the DMV that showcases the best of the region

With names such as Fat Trel, Z-Wanye, and Young Moe (not MGE) on this seventeen track cut it’s not hard to see why ‘M.G.E The Album would be such a cohesive project; that represent the full potential of the DMV hip hop scene if everyone would work together. Along with those names come dope and impactful verses from other MGE artists NSC Kai, 23 Rackz, MGE Gizzle, and MGE Blizz.

The production stems from groundbreaking producer Kidd Slopes; who has worked with names such as Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown, MoneyBagg Yo, Wale, Ruby Rose, Shy Glizzy, and Big Latto. His beautiful work behind the boards helped each artist find a vibe; that can hit the soul of listeners from any demographic.

As he states and this holds true, “there is a sound for everybody” on this LP. Some of our favorite are “Monday,” “Z-Rade,” and “Black Truck Vibes.” “Yasmine Story” is also a good track that shares a story to transparency we appreciate from modern artist.

MGE The Label is a trendy and popular DMV based independent record label; which cultivates young musical talent from all corners of Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. They’re groomed into better musicians and people.

They have great leadership

The talent fostered on the roster are from Hugo Squirle, President Bam, Blaqstar, Big Kane; and more trusted partners of the team. Unique and hungry, M.G.E hopes to set the bar high for the DMV in the near future. For now they’re contuing to develop rsing star tlaent such as Z-Wayne; who has been featured recently in Revolt, LA Weekly, Daily Chiefers, Elevator, and Stupid Dope via Apple News.

With him and the other budding talents such as NSC Kai who made us a fan with his similarity to NBA Youngboy, MG.E might have something amazing brewing with their keen eyes for talent. As we all wait in heavy anticipation for Fat Trel to be released we can be happy to say that his label mates can hold their own!

Along with this latest offering come colorful and creative visuals for LP singles “Z-Rade” from Z-Wayne and “Yasmine Story” by Fat Trel. Rising Washington, D.C. rapper I Am Northeast also makes a special guest appearance.

M.G.E The album is available to play on all DSPs.
