Listen To Wale’s “Winter Wars” With Sampled Nas Vocals On The Hook

Wale has been pretty quiet since the release of Free Lunch in September, but now he celebrates the holiday season with “Winter Wars” produced by Wallis Lane. The hook takes a sample from Nas’ Street’s Disciple track “Thief’s Theme”, adding a nice touch to Folarin’s effort.

“I take summers off ’cause I love winter beef”

In 2018 Wale didn’t produce a full-length project but all that should change now that he’s under contract with Warner Bros. Keep a lookout for plenty of Wale in 2019 and listen to the DMV rapper’s lyrical exercise on “Winter Wars” below.
