Rising Bronx-born rapper LA8 made his presence felt during New York Fashion Week, stepping confidently into the spotlight and proving his artistry stretches beyond music. Known for his raw sound and unapologetic authenticity, LA8 is carving out a space where hip-hop and high fashion collide.
On Saturday, September 13th, he hit the runway for the House of Bartholomew NYFW Show, presented by acclaimed designer Winston Bartholomew Holder III at 125 West 18th Street. The show was a bold celebration of modern luxury with a distinctly New York edge, drawing a star-studded crowd that included Blac Chyna, Jeremih, Hot 97’s DJ Drewski, and hip-hop legend Juelz Santana. LA8’s runway debut brought the same confidence and charisma that defines his music, showing he’s as comfortable on the catwalk as he is behind the mic.

Beyond the Runway
Fashion Week was more than just a runway appearance for LA8. In fact, it was a cultural takeover. Later, at the Complex Magazine Block Party Pop-Up, LA8 linked with Pardison Fontaine, continuing to cement his status as a rising figure at the intersection of art, music, and style.
Music Meets Fashion
While Fashion Week spotlighted LA8’s versatility, his foundation remains in music. With his debut album Kid in the Cold on the way and new singles rolling out, he’s poised to bring the same raw, unfiltered energy of the Bronx streets to a wider audience. His Fashion Week appearances signal more than just an industry crossover—they mark the rise of a multidimensional artist whose influence resonates on and off the stage.
A Voice To Watch
From runway moments to late-night studio sessions, LA8 is proving he’s not just following trends—he’s setting them. His debut at NYFW is only the beginning of a new chapter that positions him as
