Kiyana – “Hold Me Down” (Official Video)

New Atlanta act digs up a 90s classic for breakout single.

Kiyana, a rising star with undeniable vocals and catchy lyrics, remakes the Brandy classic “I Wanna Be Down” for her new single and visual, titled “Hold Me Down.” The single tells a personal story of the rising star about commitment in a relationship. The song exhibits Kiyana’s tremendous songwriting abilities and relentless passion. “Music is my purpose, it selected me, I didn’t select it. God put a fire in me, whatʼs inside of me is gonna help people across the world,” says Kiyana.

Many remember Kiyana from her appearance on the hit Netflix series Rhythm + Flow hosted by T.I., Chance The Rapper and Cardi B. Outside the booth, she has performed background for legendary group Xscape. Kiyana’s catalog includes collaborations with Migos, Rich The Kid, Rocko, and popular Future protege Casino.

“Hold Me Down” sets up the rising star’s forthcoming project, currently untitled. But before the project, expect Kiyana to release more new music to build the anticipation to a fever-pitch point.
