Johnny Rocket And BCN Collaborate On A Dope “Shake It” Remix

DMV artists Johnny Rocket and BCN go together more smoothly then bread on butter in a remix to Kay Flock, Dougie B, and Bory600’s original “Shake It;” that was made more popular recently with Cardi B’s addition post Flock’s imprisonment. The lyrical flair to pair of Washington, D.C. metropolitan artist add to a drill beat and cadence is outstanding. That region features some of the more creative and slept on artists of the past decade; including Ari Lennox, 3OhBlack, Wale, Cordae, Brent Faiyaz, MoneyMarr, and more, add these two to your list for artists to keep out for in that area.

The visual for the freestyle was shot by 1drince features the two among a few peers; in a flashy backdrop in the P.G. County setting of Maryland where they are having fun reciting lyrics to the remix. To put a comparison to the visual, it similar to a nostalgic feel of early Fast And Furious films; before they became more than just racing. The diversity of this stemming from Johnny Rocket is actually quite impressive.

Johnny Rocket is a different breed of creative

Winning awards for the single “Survive” which focused on sex trafficking victims in the DMV region; to “Adderall” which is accompanied by visuals that parody a walking dead post apocalypse scenario within the beginnings of the COVID-19 pandemic; Johnny might be one of the more creative rising artists out. He doesn’t go with the trends but he likes to make them and do it his way.

To best describe the sonically induced talents of Johnny Rocket include a unique mixture of vibrancy, creativity, lyricism, and high octane energy which combines into the dope musician that he is. You never know what you can get, but you’re going to receive quality music from the budding DMV star emcee. Add in his own sense of self worth and authenticity then you got somebody who has the making of being a special artist one day.

To put it simply, his creativity doesn’t hinder his morals. thus it allows him to procure music that comes from the heart and not just for money. His conviction matches his talent which puts him in a very good place mentally. Another thing that puts him in a good place is his upcoming EP release set for May 20th; along with lead single “Catch Em” featuring the before mentioned 3OhBlack.

His upcoming project promises on not only improving upon previous creativity within music but also embellish it to a more professional standard. The profoundness of his improve sound will encourage new listeners to tune into this dope bussing star.
