Harlem Artist King YK and Young Dell Link Up To Drop New Tape, “#KSGS Vol. 2”

Harlem has birthed some very legendary artists from New York City. During the 90s and early 2000s, we were introduced to the Diplomats; which included artists like Camron, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones. More recently we were introduced to the A$AP Mob with artists like A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg. Today, Harlem continues to build rap artists like King YK and Young Dell who are not only talented in music but entrepreneurship and exploring creativity as a whole.

On June 24th, Royalty Music Entertainment and LilMissChitChat gathered some of NYC’s favorite artists, A&Rs, bloggers, media personalities and tastemakers for an intimate listening session at Quad Studios in NYC. King YK & Young Dell’s highly anticipated #KSGS (King Shit, Gang Shit) Volume 2 comes two years after Volume 1; which quickly became a fan favorite. Hosted by Brand Strategist and Hip Hop Influencer Ivy Paniagua, with music by DJ LR3; before the stars even arrived the room had an amazing vibe. Ironically, Capella Grey was having a session upstairs and stopped in as the DJ played his hit song “Gyalis”. Other popular guest included people like Multi-platinum producer Dizzy Banko who produced 6 tracks on the project, female rapper Big Zen, culture commentator Elle Jones, Jasmine Jones of JJ Public Relations, Ms. Artistry of Multi Artistry Ent. and more.

King YK and Young Dell played all 13 tracks on the project including songs that featured Meek Mill’s artist Kur and Halfaheartskii. As the crowd agreed, #KSGS Vol. 2 was a solid project; King YK and Young Dell threw in a surprise. The crowd was given the opportunity to preview the song they recorded with Don Q, just the night before.

Each track tells a different story about their life experiences. Creating timeless vibes through substanial lyrics and soulful beats. In these records they open up about the struggle of being an artist and entrepreneur. They talk about some of the risks they had to take to reach the point they are at now. Using their unique sound to mesh traumatic narratives of heavy losses, and the important message of enduring it all. With soulful beats and authentic songs they continue to set the tone.
