Denonte Xavier Wilson, better known as Ghana1K, has earned a placement on Kevin Gate’s latest album, “Khaza” and the hype around the accomplishment is just beginning.
Released on June 16th via Bread Winner Alumni, the record “Ups & Downs,” has already sold 40,000 copies in its debut week, entered the Top 200 iTunes Charts in 4 different countries, and has amassed over 1 million listens across all streaming platforms to date. “It definitely couldn’t have been possible without the team,” says the celebrity music producer. “They been putting in the hours for me, allowing me to produce the best possible records I can.” Ghana1K is signed to Atlanta powerhouse NoLabel Music Group. Founded in 2019, they are home to some of the most accredited people in the music industry.
President of the label, B100, went to bat and made the deal happen for his teammate. “I appreciate B for putting me in position,” says the Lumpkin, GA native. “It was long nights, multiple phone calls and staying focused. He did all that for me while I was in the studio, still working. Love my team, thank you B.”
Even though he is gaining notoriety since the collaboration, the NoLabel Super Producer remains humble & focused. “I’m in the studio 8 hours a day, still cooking up. Got to have the work on deck. Same process, but bigger goals and more business from here. CRVCK APPVREL & is brother Pure Hardts is growing as well.”
