EAST COAST MEETS WEST COAST AGAIN!
Rising rhymer Future X is coming out hot from the streets of Connecticut. Although he’s been making music for years, recently he’s been making his presence felt! When it comes to his clever lyricism, he draws inspiration from his surroundings. Capturing your attention immediately, his raw, authentic, and unfiltered sound will keep you hooked. With a few singles and projects under his belt, he hopes to gain international recognition. With the release of his well-received Iceman5: God Is Cold project earlier this year, he connects with a big name for his upcoming track, “Mad Scientist.“
His new single, “Mad Scientist,” was released by the YANKLAND label and features fellow Connecticut-based singer Willie J. Stinson and West Coast rapper The Game. Willie J. Stinson provides an incredible chorus on the record. While Future X and The Game share some social commentary, they get gritty lyrically. Future X cleverly flips lines about the new world, Africa as the motherland, being oppressed by Uncle Sam, and even makes a reference to the video game “Goldeneye 64.” Listeners will also be pleased with this new release because it features The Game’s trademark flow and brashness.
FUTURE X UNLEASHES “MAD SCIENTIST”
“Mad Scientist” has an East meets West vibe to it, with a touch of soul thrown in for good measure. Future X aka Future Allah, born Anthony Walser in Hartford, Connecticut, uses his talents to speak on life experiences and promote self-empowerment and growth in a raw and unfiltered manner. He cites 2Pac, The Game, Nas, and Jay-Z as early influences and has made it his mission to create music that connects with the people just as much as those who came before him.
In terms of his career, he began with The Pre-Season project. Since then, he has kept his name in the spotlight with his “Iceman” series, “The Nueprint” series, “Love Me Now” series, and many others. Overall, if you haven’t taken advantage of this thriving talent, now is your chance! Finally, check back here for more music and news. For the time being, make sure to listen to the hot new single and let us know what you think!
