Okeechobee, FL was the location of its first ever Okeechobee Fest. With over 100 artists, djs and bands were in attendance. People traveled from as far as Los Angeles to be apart of this festival. We were able to capture the atmosphere and witness great performances from Joey Badass who brought out Nyck Caution, Michael Christmas, Mac Miller, Lil Dicky, Miguel, Future and Kendrick Lamar.
This festival had some of the top performers in the game. With us being a hip hop based site we focused a lot on the hip hop & r&b acts. Kendrick Lamar definitely had a lot of people excited to see him on the day before his surprise release.
This festival will definitely be a staple festival in Florida for some time to come competing with huge Florida festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Sunfest and Miami’s Art Basel Weekend. We will definitely be attending next years festival.
