Everyday there is a new artist emerging in the hip-hop industry. We always have the pleasure of being introduced to these stars in the making before their rise to the top. I must say when it comes to Cyko (Lost Key Records), he is definitely different.
In an industry full of saturated and watered down artist Cyko is the complete opposite. After listening to his overall body of work on “I’m Just Different” he has so much great content that this should be an album. I think the most impressive thing about this project is not the Rich Homie Quan feature (So Much Money), nor the London produced track, but the fact that Cyko is a complete artist. Not only does he have great song structure, lyrical ability and flow, but he produced more than 70% of his project.
Rich Homie Quan was there throughout the who night to offer his support on the record along with some of the industry elite in the Miami scene. Those like DJ Epps (103.5 The Beat), DJ Ivory, DJ E Money (Zoey Dollaz), Steph Lecor (We The Best/PBMG Artist) and many more.
This was a night of great vibes, drinks by Stoli and appetizing food from DJ Khaled’s personal Chef Dee of Empty Plates Catering. Cyko is definitely going to be a household name and a true star in the making.
