Event Recap: Audubon "Exile" Listening Session hosted by Felisha Monet of 99 Jamz -

Great music, Belaire bottles being popped and excellent food from True Essence Catering prepared by Chef Lawrence. That combination will put you in a great vibe to listen to some new music. We always keep our ear to new emerging artist and today is no different. We introduce you to Audubon. We were able to get a sneak peak of what this new comer has in-store for the world.

With a very humble and supportive introduction from 99 Jamz own Felisha Monet, Audubon gave us an exclusive preview of his latest body of work entitled “Exile”. He has some great records on this upcoming project. No record sticks out more than his most focused record entitled “Nothing Like Them”. This record has a very melodic feel which will definitely find its place in some major markets for radio play and also in the club.

Audubon definitely is a seasoned artist in both the delivery and quality of records we heard tonight. By many industry enthusiasts he is going to get alot of comparisons to both Drake and/or Bryson Tiller so it will be important for him to achieve a signature sound that will differentiate him from those artist.

All in all he is definitely going to be an artist to watch, possessing both a talented pen game when it comes to his lyrical ability, but also his catchiness with his melodic harmonies and infectious hooks. Audubon is sure to soon be a household name.
