Don Gritty is bringing us back to L.I.F.E. with his latest project

Don Gritty is making some moves, re-releasing his hit track, “Waste No Time,” from his L.I.F.E. album, ahead of his highly anticipated next project.

Darryl Adonte Moore, better known by his stage name, Don Gritty, is coming at ya’, and he is holding nothing back. Ahead of the highly anticipated release of his next project, My Reign Has Just Begun, releasing sometime in November 2021, Don re-released hit song  “Waste No Time” very soon.

“Waste No Time” comes off of Don Gritty’s 2020 project, L.I.F.E., which is a ten-track album. Just like the single “Waste No Time,” the project focuses on his life, reflecting on his triumphs and obstacles. So it is clear Don isn’t going to lose any time messing around, seen in his visual for “Waste No Time,” where it is just him and his girl, spending time together camping and just riding out in the fast lane, happy. 

Don Gritty wants more than just his music to be heard. He wants it to resonate with his audience, to inspire, explaining his story of humble beginnings to where he is now. Don Gritty urges his audience by example, showing them how he “tend[s] to talk about things that most artists don’t,” digging deeper into himself and the music, creating what intersects at rap, art, and poetry. 

“My upbringing has molded me into the person I am today,” he said. “Therefore, I can express the good and bad in my music without feeling any regret because I know that there are people in the world who have also experienced similar situations.” 

Emphatically his music is a flawless performance of life captured in song. From the warble rapping a use of the expression to address the content of sadness and loss to his poetic like lyrics, juxtaposed to trap beats, Don Gritty sound is pure yet raw and passionate, making him one hell of an artist, and someone to keep on your radar.
