D.Tall – “Tried To Love The Streets” (Music Video)

In 2020, his most impactful year yet, D.Tall has displayed growth, influence and consistency in everything he creates. His new album, Kill Lucy, has quickly become one of the year’s most defining projects. Today, the Dallas-native continues to campaign his latest with the release of the project’s new single, titled, “Tried To Love The Streets.”

Directed by Jeff Adair. The video documents the dangers of living the glamourized “fast life” lifestyle. The visual brings life to the motto: “Here today, gone tomorrow.” D.Tall make major moves toward building a new legacy for himself as Kill Lucy continues to draw large streaming numbers weekly.

On making the new video, D.Tall says, “I feel like this video is important to the culture because it lightheartedly displays our hamster nature, constantly looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places, not realizing a significant destination is non-existent. That’s why so many people rock with this record. The music video just helps drive the message home.”

“Tried To Love The Streets” features a guest appearance by stand-up comedian Fonzo Crow.

Kill Lucy is the third solo release in D.Tall’s ongoing catalog. And with “Tried To Love The Streets,” the project also features breakout songs like “Different,” “Top Down” and “Memories.” The album is available now on all DSPs on 2 Entertainment.
