The Beginning of Benji DaRula!

Bringing it back to the beginning, Benji began realizing his gifts and hit the ground running. In fact, he participated in several programs throughout his educational experience starting in elementary school into college. From Student Body president and being involved in school and community talent shows and pageants to Honors String/ Electric Bass Player, and enrolling in Drama,Theatre and instrumental music programs, Benji Da Rula was destined to be an entertainer.

Sophomore year of high school, Benji moved to Jamaica Queens, NY. He wanted to get better acquainted with his father’s side of the family. As a result, he attended Long Island’s Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. In doing so, he was selected out of 200 students to be a part of their first graduating class. Unfortunately, shortly after his father passed and he took his talents back down South. Throughout college, the trendy talent went to Benedict College to major in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

Cant Stop, Won’t Stop

Pursuing his passions professionally, Benji DaRula graduated college and traveled to Las vegas to get a taste of the West Coast. After a short time there, he then arrived in Atlanta! Since stepping on the scene, he has shut down showcases and made the necessary connections by attending a number of networking mixers. Climbing the charts in all creative spaces, Benji Da Rula rocks many hats. He serves as an advocate for aspiring artists. He utilizes his experience and resources to help indie artists develop their artistry and brand, all while legitimizing their music. Additionally, Benji brings the vibes to the streets as the hottest in the streets host, prominent promoter, and enthralling event coordinator. His specialized skill set allows him to soar to stardom as Benji DaRula rules the realm with his many resources and accolades.

Remaining a force to be reckoned with, Benji DaRula continues to carry his city of Columbia, South Carolina on his back! Nonetheless, the captivating creator and aspiring artists is currently cooking up some more music and gearing up to push new projects.
