Representing Chicago, Lyrik has always used his upbringing and surroundings as inspiration for his creative outlets. Using hardcore rap lyrics from artist like 2Pac to clever lyrics like those of J.Cole, Lyrik easily found his voice in music. He began recording in 2015, releasing his first studio album Ventilations in 2019. The album proved to be an impressive and unique display of Lyrik’s indulgent sound.
