Last week, HBO Max kicked off the premiere of Issa Rae’s Rap Sh!t with its Wynwood activation for Miami’s Rolling Loud Music Festival. The event celebrated the Miami music scene with food, drinks, live music, and a screening of episode one at Oasis Wynwood. Hosted by Miami’s own Supa Cindy of 99 Jamz.
On Thursday, July 21 HBO Max hosted musical performances by Dreamdoll and Saucy Santana and presented a live DJ set by DJ Dimples. Both Dreamdoll and Saucy Santana tore up the stage providing the crowd with live performances of all of their hit records.

The event also featured giveaways from Mented Cosmetics and Cay Skin, a bottle service experience presented by Ciroc/Deleón, and photo moments including a Spotify recording booth.

Because of the star power that Rolling Loud Festival produces the tastemakers, influencers and the who’s who of Miami were all in the building for a night full of great food, great drinks, interactive popup stations and much more. If you were in the City of Miami and did not attend this event you definitely did yourself a disservice.

After having the opportunity of watching the first episode of Rap Sh!t I was instantly impressed with how the show truly represents the culture and authenticity of Miami. From the scenes and iconic locations that are being represented the story being told gives you a clear reality of the entertainment and nightlife scene is in the 305.

It’s clear that Rap Sh!t is going to have a bright future and is something that will shed big light on the in’s and out’s of making it in the entertainment business. Because of its connection to artist like KaMillion who have witnessed first hand the ups and downs of navigating the music industry the show provides such an authentic approach to showcasing these stories. With such great acting from both KaMillion and Aida Osman these two together are a perfect formula for a hit show. We are excited for everyone involved with making this show such a hit.
As a sponsor of the Rolling Loud Festival, Rap Sh!t also had branded GA And VIP lockers as well as visible stage branding.
