In 2016, Scott Morris launched the first Daze Summit Festival in New York City. Scott is the CEO and Founder of Mor.Bookings Agency, a talent agency and an event planning company created in 2015. Prior to that Scott was known for putting together the, “Deans List Tour” where hundred of artist from all over the country would audition to perform on the international 40+ city tour.
Daze Summit Festival is pretty much New York’s version of SXSW but with that spicy NYC vibe mixed in with new, raw and emerging talent. This year it started on April 11, 2022 to April 21, 2022 and was sponsored by Mor.Bookings, Underground Advocatez and New Heat Studios. The festival includes showcases, panels, and mixers for all creatives and independent artist to connect and network. Independent artists were able to perform for music executives and label reps from some of the following companies: Asylum, Epic, Atlantic, Interscope, AllepacTheFamily, Quality Control, DIEMON, Warner, EQ, Roc Nation, 300 ent and more.

This festival was filled with panels and events by some of the industry’s most valuable players. From A&Rs, to Music Executives, DJs, Entrepreneurs, Producers, Publicists, Journalists and Radio Hosts each panel spoke on different topics everyday. These conversations offered a lot of valuable information that the artists found very beneficial. They shared their story on what it takes to get to that next level. Many spoke about the struggle and making nothing into something authentic that can innovate and push the culture in positive ways. For those who performed they were able to connect with radio stations and record labels after every show. It gave them the opportunity to network beyond their normal reach and organically gain new supporters. This year ‘s festival is hands down one of the most influential ones yet.
