Almost two weeks ago, an image of Envy Caine in an orange jumpsuit with a caption that read “Free The Real Out The Feds” appeared on his Instagram. Fans immediately went into a frenzy commenting and reposting “Free Coke”. A few days later, his Instagram also announced that he would be releasing an EP titled, The Reason. The seven track tape was released on Friday, August 20th; “Top Opp” and “Full On Sin” featuring Atlantic Records artist PNV Jay being fan favorites.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Caine witnessed many different walks of life growing up. At a young age he began writing and studying the art of music. The Reason is inspired by Caine’s life story. He uses his music as a way to express himself and relate to his supporters. With his intriguing life experiences music has been his always been his favorite outlet. Each track shows a different side of him and throughout his music many are able to learn and understand him as a creative artist.
