New York is the home of many legendary multi talented artists. But as we know the Bronx is the birthplace of hip hop. Capella Grey hailing from Uptown Bronx, started out as a writer and producer. As a teen Grey was exposed to different genres and styles of music. Over time he became passionate about learning about the art of music. He would write songs and use that as a tool to express himself and relate to his people. He takes pride in being the new voice of Uptown, Bronx. He feels it time for the world to see what true talent Uptown breeds.
During the 2020 COVID-19 quarantine Grey decided to hop in the booth himself and take his talents to the next level. His latest hit single “Gyalis”, has been buzzing all over the city. Not only has it been doing numbers but it has garnered recognition from some of Hip Hop’s greatest emcees and DJs.

On “Gyalis,” Grey smoothly sings over a Juevenille’s “Back That Azz Up” sample with the Caribbean vibe. This record is the ultimate summer chune that everyone can vibe out too. Mixing in different genres of music on one track and also producing the entire record simply displays how much multi talented creative artist Capella Grey truly is.
