J. Cole dropped the visuals for his latest single, “Middle Child” on Monday (Feb. 25), The Fayetteville rapper initially dropped the single in Jan. 2019. On the song, he illustrates himself as an artist at the center of the rookie and veteran generations in the hip-hop community. In the visual, Cole makes it his message loud and clear, basically letting the rap game know he’s ready to take over. There’s speculation that “Middle Child” will appear on either his mixtape, solo album, or the Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation. The song, co-produced by T-Minus, has spent four weeks on the Hot 100 chart and has peaked at No. 4.
