21 Savage kicks off Black History Month with a cinematic visual for his intro to I Am > I Was. In the video, directed by Aisultan Seitov, the Atlanta rapper hosts a family reunion in a huge mansion. Dressed in all black, 21’s family toasts to their success while flashing glimpses of all their problems they’re experiencing. Dressed in all black as well, J Cole shows up after the family photo to lay his verse. Another notable appearance from Cole, who’s currently on a hot streak following his single “Middle Child”.
