There are tons of great Hip Hop songs about being a parent, and just as many about parents. These songs about one’s mother or father can be touching tributes or painful but they are always heartfelt. Connecticuts own, FNX drops off his single “Daddy’s Baby”featuring Khaliq and produced by Minds Eye Production.FNX originally used the stage name Symon Feenixxx. His early work “Young Black Males” and “Monsters” was about mental illness garnered the attention of industry veterans. That early persona, adopted from the 1993 film Demolition Man, was reminiscent of rappers Ghostface Killah and Method Man.
Recently FNX released Lyrics Still Matter hosted by DJ Big Mike featuring Apathy, Chino Xl and Canibus. Next up for FNX is his debut album called The Universal Frequency.
